As a field sales rep, individuals need to visit local biomedical laboratories in universities, government research institutes and industrial research centers on a daily basis to meet research scientists, to provide them with our product information and to establish a customer base in the local territory. Light travel to nearby universities is required. Successful candidates will be highly motivated individuals with the strong desire to succeed. A college degree is required, preferably in life science. Prior sales experience is a plus, but not required. This position is an independent contract position. Compensation will be based on commission. There is no limit on the compensation. Both full time and part time candidates will be considered. Position Overview An Account Manager (AM) is assigned full time on-site to a specific resident staff account (facility). The AM is responsible for all aspects of on-site account management and supervision of all service personnel assigned to him/her. Works closely with both the internal staff and client representatives in planning, analyzing and evaluating information for assigned services and/or projects. The AM may spend up to 100% of their time on administrative tasks. Excellent client management skills Excellent organizational skills. Experience Minimum of 5 yrs experience in the service and maintenance of medical equipment. Minimum of 1 year management experience.
