Job Title: Professional Development Program - PhD Chemist/ Chemical Engineer Class of 2010 Company: BASF Global Location: Florham Park, NJ Description: The PDP recruits highly motivated, mobile-minded, recent college graduates to join BASF Corporation. Participants are provided focused opportunities to develop their professional skills and integrate them into the BASF culture. Through a series of real-world rotational assignments at different sites throughout the United States, participants will explore career options and develop technical and professional decision-making skills, while fulfilling specific business needs. Participants will also have the opportunity to assess their capabilities, skills and interests and gain valuable exposure to BASFs culture and values. Participation in the PDProgram requires participants to focus their expertise on significant challenging opportunities in a fast-paced global environment. The Ph.D. Chemistry PDP allows the participant to develop technical expertise, network at senior levels throughout BASF and explore possible career tracks within the company. Assignments in the participants field of expertise will be designed and planned to enhance career development and deliver immediate value to BASF. Two, nine-month assignments provide exposure to various technologies and career opportunities throughout BASF, while promoting the development of technical and professional decision-making skills and fulfilling specific business needs. Assignments can be located at many of BASF sites located across North America. Placement at the conclusion of the program leads to opportunities in research, development, applications in the following: materials, organic chemical, polymer, agro-chemical, biotechnology, ecology, and quality improvement, or production/process support.

Job Title: Bio-Chemical Engineer Company: FPC of Decatur Location: Boston, MA Description: Job Description: An experienced Bio Chemical Engineer or Chemical Engineer is being sought by a major Bio-Tech Company for its Boston , Massachusetts area Research and Development organization. As a major provider to the Life Sciences and Biotech Industry, this person will get to work with highly critical and sensitive Research and Development equipment and chemical processes dealing with monoclonal antibodies, large molecule pharmaceuticals, and proteins. Person will get to work with a company projecting to double their business in five years. Excellent geographic location. Job Requirements: BS Chemical, Bio Chemical Engineering Masters Degree a plus Minimum 3 years experience in a biotech/pharmaceutical environment Must have upstream and downstream Bio-Reactor Processing experience Possess excellent Project Management skills
