The group's primary research focus is on the investigation of cellular energy metabolism and mitochondrial function. The primary expertise of the laboratory is in studies of mitochondrial ion channels and calcium signaling using electrophysiology and imaging approaches. The use of other experimental techniques and animal models can be provided through collaborations with other laboratories.
