Our client in Glendale, California is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Lab Technician to join their quality and product development team. This role is essential to maintaining the integrity of OTC and cosmetic products through rigorous stability testing and data analysis. The Lab Technician will be responsible for conducting physical and chemical testing on raw materials, bulk products, and finished goods in accordance with defined specifications and industry standards. Ideal candidates will bring previous experience from the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or nutritional industries, with a strong ability to adapt in a fast-paced lab environment.

The Day-to-Day:
Analyze stability data for OTC and cosmetic products following established test methods.
Monitor and record daily readings from stability chambers and hydrometers.
Perform product evaluations for parameters such as color, odor, and appearance.
Test and release raw materials and components based on specification criteria.
Conduct root cause investigations for product deviations or non-conformance.
Create, review, and revise product specifications for raw materials, bulk, and finished products.
Execute weekly DI Water testing and maintain equipment such as pH meters, balances, and viscometers.
Complete testing within designated timelines to meet production and regulatory deadlines.
Maintain accurate, organized, and complete laboratory documentation and records.
Support additional duties as assigned by the Lab Supervisor.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required; Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related science strongly preferred.
23 years of relevant laboratory experience, preferably in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or nutritional sectors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Capable of managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities under time constraints.
Willingness to work overtime or weekends when required.
Flexible and adaptable to evolving processes that support continuous improvement.
Pay Rate:
$24.00 to $27.00 /hr
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
