Dr. Xiuli Wang's lab, part of the Therapeutics Research Laboratories program, is seeking a Research Associate II to support cutting-edge CAR T cell therapy research. This fast-paced lab offers hands-on training in advanced techniques and clinical immunotherapy projects. Flexible work hours may be required. As a successful candidate, you will:
- Tissue culture including application of aseptic techniques for media compounding, passaging, maintenance and cryopreservation of cell cultures (e.g., T cell lines)
- Performance of T cell functional assays (e.g., cytotoxicity and cytokine production assays) and ELISAs
- Murine surgical procedures and tissue harvesting/preparation
- Assisting in revising/maintaining lab protocols
- Providing routine lab support and maintenance activities in the spirit of GLP
Your qualifications should include:
- Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related field, with 2 years of post-degree research experience, or 1 year with a Master's degree
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy in lab work, and robust record-keeping skills
- Previous experience with multi-color flow cytometry and CAR T cell production highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with cellular immunology and standard good laboratory practices (GLP) desired
