Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Line Tech to join our team in Hendersonville, NC. This role is essential in ensuring that our beverages-including juices, teas, waters, and concentrates-meet the highest standards of food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct standardized analytical tests (pH, Titratable Acidity, Vitamin C, Brix, color, clarity, turbidity) on various beverage products.
- Perform sensory evaluations (flavor, odor, visual) during blending and final product stages.
- Support sampling, testing, and release of raw and bulk materials.
- Execute pre-operational verifications and line clearances at shift start and during flavor/label changes.
- Perform and document hourly quality checks on analytical, labeling, and packaging parameters.
- Maintain accurate, real-time records in compliance with regulatory and internal procedures.
- Identify and communicate aseptic production issues; support investigations and documentation (OOS, NCR, Deviations).
- Conduct microbial testing and support environmental monitoring programs
- Manage QA holds in QAD and assist in determining product disposition.

This position will be on the manufacturing floor working hand in hand with the production operators. Will be doing the sampling and testing on the manufacturing floor - will not be testing in a lab most times.
2 candidate profiles:
Non-Degreed:
Experience in food and beverage manufacturing
Beverage experience ideally
Quality testing for pH, Acidity, Brix, Turbidity
Experience working cross functionally - will be working closely with operators.
Degreed - Chemistry, Biology, BioChem, or Microbio
Experience with Micro techniques
Plating experience
Testing experience - basic wet chem testing

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $58240.00/yr.
