Laboratory Technician (Psych/Neuro) Job Identification: 18895 Posting Date: Job Schedule: Locations: Degree Level: Job Description: What We're Looking For Baylor University is seeking a Laboratory Technician (Psychology/Neuroscience) to support the mission and vision of the University within the Department of Psychology & Neuroscience. As a technician, an expertise and technical skill set in the following are required: rodent addiction self-administration and seeking behavioral paradigms, intracranial surgical procedures, jugular catheter surgery, perfusion and tissue collection, perform histological and biological assays on tissues collected from experimental animals, microscopy, record and assist in data entry and analysis using specific computer software programs. A Bachelor's Degree and one year of relevant work experience is required. Two years of relevant work experience is preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of one another. Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.
