Job Description The Laboratory Technician will work in a cleanroom setting to manufacture medical products for customers worldwide. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and safety of products used in infectious diseases and diagnostics. Responsibilities
- Perform pipetting, sample preparation, and media preparation.
- Assist in filling and packaging products, including the use of automated instruments.
- Ensure proper and detailed labeling of products.
- Collaborate with scientists and technicians to perform routine laboratory tasks and maintenance.
- Assist in washing, cleaning, and maintenance of reusable materials and instruments.
- Conduct periodic inventory checks on packaging materials and replacement parts.
- Handle and collect waste of acids, bases, and other biohazards safely.
- Contribute to accurate production records, maintenance logs, inspections, temperature records, and water systems documentation.
- Support and comply with onsite safety programs and report any safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Aid in the development, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including cross-functional tasks within the small site.
- Proficiency in pipetting, sample preparation, and media preparation.
- Experience in a GMP environment or relevant lab experience.
- Understanding of biology and buffer preparation.
- Prior education or experience in biotechnology is advantageous.
- Ability to follow laboratory procedures and maintain a scientific mindset.
