EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

B.S. degree in Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field

1-3 years of relevant laboratory experience

REQUIRED SKILLS

Knowledge of protein expression and purification techniques

Proficiency in protein analysis methods such as SDS-PAGE and Western blotting

Familiarity with chromatography techniques

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

POSITION SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the purification of proteins from plant and bacterial systems

Conduct protein expression, purification, and characterization experiments

Utilize various protein analysis methods including concentration determination, SDS-PAGE, and Western blot analysis

Employ chromatography techniques for effective protein separation

Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines

Maintain accurate records of experiments and results
