Job Description

This is a full-time NIH-funded research position available in the Baker Lab at the Bond Life Sciences Center, University of Missouri-Columbia. The primary objective of this position is to study the resolution of salivary gland inflammation, mechanisms of salivary gland fibrosis and tissue regeneration using mouse and cell culture models.

Some of the responsibilities include the following:

a) maintain and manage animal colonies

b) conduct experiments utilizing mouse and cell culture

c) perform confocal microscopy, western blotting, and flow cytometry

d) ordering laboratory supplies

e) assisting with the writing of methods for papers and grant applications.

Shift

Enter Shift Type Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

(Clinical) Office/Administrative Hours: No - Position will not have Office/Admin Hours

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $13.75 - $24.59

Grade: GGS - 005
