Position Summary Information Job Description Summary:
Student will support ongoing projects in biomaterials and tissue characterization. The position focuses on histological sample preparation, imaging, and qualitative and quantitative analysis of tissue sections. The student will work closely with a graduate/post-doc mentor to refine experimental protocols and analysis pipelines, while contributing to novel research findings on biomaterial performance. Student is expected to: (1) perform standard histological techniques to prepare and stain sections; (2) optimize image analysis pipelines; (3) organize, document, and present data clearly for group meetings and reports; (4) maintain laboratory records, follow safety protocols, and ensure data integrity; and (5) positively contribute to lab culture.

Requirements:
Attention to detail; able to follow directions; science major preferred, but not required. Previous lab experience a plus.

Wage Rate:
$13 p/hour for undergraduate students; $15 p/hour for graduate students.
