Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

20 hours per week.

Laboratory technician needed to help with beef gene expression project.

Assisting Dr. Hellberg with various tasks within their lab.

Responsibilities

The technician will conduct RNA extraction.

Reverse transcriptase PCR.

Real-time PCR to measure gene expression in different types of beef.

The technician will assist with manuscript preparation.

Required Qualifications

Prior experience with laboratory techniques, including RNA extraction, reverse transcriptase PCR, and real-time PCR.

Desired Qualifications

Current Chapman University Student.

Prior experience with laboratory techniques.
