Research Assistant - Biomechanics - Other Hourly Worker
Department:

Essential Functions:
- Extract key insights and quantitative metrics from histological and medical images
- Test biological tissues mechanically and analyze and interpret biomechanical data from experimental studies
- Assist in development and testing of benchtop systems for medical device evaluation
- Support data processing, documentation, and reporting
- Assist with large animal surgeries

Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Biomechanics, Biomedical Engineering, or other related fields.
- Experience working with biological tissues and large animal models.
- Experience analyzing biomechanical data
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience assisting surgeons in operating room
- Experience working with human and animal blood vessels.
