Job Title: Lab Technician
Location:  Alachua, FL

Position Overview:
The Lab Technician will support daily operations at a logistics and training facility, assisting with the management of materials, equipment, and training programs across various departments including Medical Affairs, Professional Education, Clinical Research, R&D, Marketing, and Sales.
Primary Responsibilities:
	Support daily facility operations including packing, shipping, receiving lab materials and supplies, inventory management, demo ordering, cleaning and sterilization of equipment, and instrument maintenance.
	
	
	Assist in planning and organizing educational and training events in collaboration with Medical Affairs and Professional Education teams.
	
	
	Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and safety protocols related to anatomical specimen handling, biohazard materials, and overall lab safety.
	
	
	Recover nerve tissue and perform dissection of anatomical specimens for educational and research purposes.
	
	
	Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
	
	
Educational Requirements / Qualifications:
	Associate Degree in science or technical field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
	
	
	Prior laboratory experience preferred; relevant experience may substitute for educational requirements.
	
	
	Experience working with animal and human tissue and handling biohazard materials.
	
	
	Skilled in bulk and micro debridement and dissection techniques.
	
	
	Experience in regulated industries (medical or biotech) is a plus.
	
	
Physical Requirements:
	Ability to perform medium work involving lifting or moving up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
	
	
	Requires mental and visual acuity, ability to walk, perform repetitive motions, and communicate effectively (speaking, hearing, typing).
	
	
Working & Environmental Conditions:
	Routine exposure to standard office and lab safety risks requiring typical precautions (safe use of equipment, trip/fall prevention, fire safety).
	
	
	Work environment includes controlled areas requiring gowning and HVAC control.
	
	
	Handling of frozen products and dry ice may be required, with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
