Department: College of Arts & Sciences Time Type: Part time FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Description: Summary: The Research Assistant (RA) will work with Dr. Balestra to contribute to her ongoing research on road dust. The RA contribute to research by using the dissecting microscope to prepare and analyze road dust samples. Essential Functions: Collaborate with the professor on ongoing research project on road dust. Participating in the field work. Responsible for sample preparation and data analysis. Manage and dispose of used supplies in lab. General Lab housekeeping. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Part-time. 15 hours per week. Salary Range: $19.50 per hour.
