Applications are invited for a full time faculty position as Clinical Geneticist in the Division of Genetics and Genomics in the Department of Pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital and Department of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. We are seeking an outstanding clinician who is licensed and board-certified in Clinical Genetics to join a vigorous clinical program directed toward the diagnosis and care of children and adults with genetic disorders and complex rare diseases. This role will serve a diverse patient population and while employed by Boston Children's Hospital will participate in clinical practices at other top community hospitals in Boston . The clinician will have the unique opportunity to work with patients and families from a wide range of backgrounds at one of the finest pediatric genetics programs in the country. There will be the opportunity to participate in our expansive and growing translational and clinical research programs with relevance to Genetics and Genomics. The Division of Genetics and Genomics at Boston Children's Hospital consists of over 15 clinical and biochemical geneticists and 10 laboratories, and resides within a very strong research and clinical community in genetics, developmental biology and related disciplines throughout the Harvard Longwood Medical Area. The successful candidate also will be expected to take advantage of the many opportunities for teaching house staff and medical students at Boston Children's Hospital and will be proposed for a Harvard Medical School faculty appointment at the level of instructor, assistant or associate professor depending on qualifications .
