Job Description
This part-time Clinical Research Coordinator role supports a cardiology study by managing study data and ensuring accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system. The position requires a detail-oriented professional with clinical research experience who can work independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating closely with patients and clinical staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely data entry into electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
- Maintain complete and organized study documentation and records within the EMR and study files.
- Collaborate with clinical team members, including nurses and other research staff, to support safe and efficient study conduct.
- Monitor data for accuracy and completeness and promptly address any discrepancies or missing information.
- Adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards and site policies to protect patient safety and data integrity.
- Manage a workload of approximately 30 hours per week while meeting study timelines and performance expectations.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of experience with electronic data capture (EDC) data entry.
- At least 2 years of experience in clinical research.
- Previous experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator, Registered Nurse, or Licensed Practical Nurse, or in a similar clinical role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
- Ability to pre-screen patients and perform detailed chart reviews using EMR systems.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with patients and clinical staff.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
Work Environment
This role operates on a part-time schedule of approximately 30 hours per week during normal business hours. The work environment is fast paced and requires consistent attention to detail, particularly when performing chart reviews, working in the EMR, and entering data into EDC systems. The position is based in a clinical research setting that involves regular interaction with patients and collaboration with clinical staff.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
