Student - Research Assistant Biomedical ESWT Project Slezak GEL

The College of Science at Utah Valley University is seeking Student Research Assistants to provide focused data analysis, manuscript preparation, and administrative support for an ongoing biomedical research project utilizing Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT). This short-term, grant-funded position is available through the end of June 2026. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Gathering, organizing, compiling, and cleaning experimental data sets from ESWT trials. Assisting in statistical analysis, data interpretation, and generating figures or data summaries for final project reporting. Contributing to literature reviews, abstract drafting, and manuscript preparation for scientific publication. Ensuring meticulous laboratory data compliance and archiving project records. Must be a current UVU student. Prior knowledge of ESWT research methodologies and data analysis is highly preferred. Strong attention to detail and data integrity. Excellent written communication skills for scientific reporting and drafting. Proficiency with computer applications, including data spreadsheets and word processing programs. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with faculty mentors and research partners.
