Microbiology Lab Technician Responsibilities: - Conduct microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished product - Conduct ongoing microbial testing of USP water system - Provide support for release testing of media and organisms for use in the lab - Provide input for writing and revising laboratory guidelines and SOPs - Provide support for environmental monitoring programs - Perform data generation/trending and calibration procedures - Keep the micro laboratory environment and activities in compliance to cGMP, also maintaining accurate records per cGMP - Apply skills in scientific techniques and principles, problem solving, organization of work and cost savings - Comply with procedural guidelines, laboratory procedures and safety procedures Requirements for Microbiology Lab Technician: - Bachelor's degree in in Microbiology/Chemistry or related sciences knowledge - SAP experience desired QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
