Your impact

The Jacobs Tempe office is seeking a part-time, senior-level biologist who is currently permitted to conduct species-specific protocol surveys for the southwestern willow flycatcher and yellow-billed cuckoo. To perform the tasks required in this position, the candidate will have applied experience in the following key areas:

• Experience conducting and supervising field surveys for various wildlife and plant species
• Experienced and permitted by the US Fish and Wildlife Service and Arizona Game and Fish Department to conduct southwestern willow flycatcher and yellow-billed cuckoo surveys
• Knowledgeable of Endangered Species Act section 7 regulations

Here's what you'll need

• Ability to start immediately
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology or related field
• 10+ years of experience in field studies and/or environmental analysis
• Organizational and time management skills to effectively complete assigned workload within defined timelines and in accordance with established standards and protocols
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record

Posted Salary Range: Minimum

111,000.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

177,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $111,000.00 to $177,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
