About the role:
The flow cytometry technologist medical laboratory technologist (MLT) is responsible for performing the processing and analysis of flow cytometry samples according to established standard operational procedures (SOP). The Flow MLT contributes to the hospitals goal of shockingly excellent experiences by providing accurate and timely results in a manner consistent with professional standards. He/she role models both professional and organizational core competencies. The Flow MLT serves as a resource to staff, physicians, internal and external clients.

What you bring:

Graduate from a recognized Medical Laboratory Technology program and CSMLS certification as a General MLT

Member in good standing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO)

Minimum of 5 years experience in a hospital Flow Cytometry laboratory

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Excellent problem recognition and problem solving-skills

Effective time management skills; ability to organize work and set priorities

Innovative and willing to learn

Commitment to provide excellent customer service

Ability to work effectively as a team member

Computer literacy

Ability to work effectively, efficiently and accurately
