Salary/Hourly Rate:
$75/hr
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Clinical Research Medical Director (Part-Time) to support site-based and decentralized clinical trials within a collaborative research environment. This role will serve as a Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator, providing medical oversight, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining protocol compliance across multiple clinical studies.
Responsibilities of the Clinical Research Medical Director (Part-Time):
- Serve as Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator for clinical research studies.
- Provide medical oversight for decentralized and site-based clinical trials.
- Review study protocols and assess site feasibility for participation.
- Support patient safety, data integrity, and protocol compliance activities.
- Collaborate with Site Operations, Medical Affairs, and Research teams to support study execution.
Required Experience/Skills for the Clinical Research Medical Director (Part-Time):
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinical documentation systems.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Clinical Research Medical Director (Part-Time):
- Board Certification.
- 1 - 3 years of clinical trials experience as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator.
- Experience supporting decentralized clinical trials.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional clinical research teams.
- Family Medicine or Internal Medicine background.
Education Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) is required.
