Clinical Research Associate II / Hemophilia Clinic

Vitalant is seeking a hands-on Clinical Research Associate II to join our Hemophilia Center of Western PA division. In this role, you will play a key part in conducting and supporting clinical research studies , including scheduling patient research study visits, ensuring adherence to study protocols, working hands-on with patients/research participants and contributing to groundbreaking advancements in hemophilia and blood disorder research . Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are essential in this role! What You'll Do: Recruit and enroll research subjects by reviewing patient records and identifying eligible candidates. Obtain informed consent and schedule research study visits. Complete case report forms (CRFs) and submit data through web-based systems. Process and collect specimens , ensuring compliance with study protocols. (Phlebotomy skills are necessary) Assist with adverse event reporting and follow safety guidelines. Work closely with research sponsors , including pharmaceutical companies and physician-led investigator studies. What to Expect: Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30PM. (Not a remote position). Work experience in clinical research setting required. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are required. Prior knowledge of experimental or study design, data/specimen collection, quality control required. Four years of related clinical research experience required, OR two years related clinical research experience with Medical Technologist certification required. Phlebotomy skills are highly preferred , or a willingness to be trained. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow research protocols .
