We are seeking a highly motivated and independent Senior Research Associate to join the Kodiak In Vivo Pharmacology team. This role is integral to the execution and analysis of preclinical in vivo studies and includes supporting bench-based research to enhance mechanistic insights. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to pioneering therapeutic programs in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute preclinical efficacy, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), and ex vivo studies to support early-stage discovery and lead optimization efforts.
- Conduct in vitro studies using biochemical and molecular biology techniques to complement and elucidate in vivo findings.
- Independently perform routine lab duties and actively contribute to cross-functional project teams.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and develop novel assays to accelerate program timelines and expand mechanistic understanding.
- Maintain meticulous experimental records, data integrity, and reproducibility standards.
- B.S. or M.S. in Pharmacology, Animal Science, Biology, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Proven hands-on experience with rodent handling, dosing (IP, IV, SC), and biological sample collection (blood and tissue).
- Strong background in biological sample preparation and downstream analysis.
- Proficiency in standard molecular biology techniques such as PCR and SDS-PAGE.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accurate, high-quality data recording.
- Competency in GraphPad Prism, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard data analysis tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Preferred Skill: Experience with analytical techniques (e.g., LC-MS, ELISA) is a plus.
