Laboratory Technician

We are hiring for a Laboratory Technician that will focus on swabbing and sampling the cleanroom laboratory to ensure it is staying sterile. This is a gene-therapy laboratory, so it is vitally important to make sure that no contaminants end up in the final product.

This is a long-term career opportunity with a growing biopharmaceutical company and will primarily be performing some basic swabbing and air sampling in a pharmaceutical, clean-room laboratory.

An ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and experience performing basic quality testing or swabbing and air sampling experience.

Job Description

This role will primarily conduct basic testing to ensure the laboratory is not contaminated. This is going to be in a GMP regulated, cleanroom environment and will primarily be performing basic swabbing of the various surfaces, air sampling, and a lot of documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct basic sampling and swabbing, including from various surfaces and the air.
  • Document any findings and data collected.
  • Prepare samples to be sent out to other sites for further testing.
Qualifications:
  • Ideally looking for a candidate with a Bachelors or Associates Degree and at least a couple months of experience with some swabbing and/or sampling in regulated environments.
  • Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science will be considered, but will have to want to do this long term
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
