Field Service Technician Jobs in Connecticut

A Field Service Technician in the biotechnology industry is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing biotechnological equipment at various sites. They provide onsite technical assistance, calibrate systems, perform inspections, and troubleshoot problems to ensure all equipment is in good working order. They also provide training and technical support to users, document service and installation activities, and assist with product upgrades and modifications. Prior to becoming a Field Service Technician, one might have roles such as Laboratory Assistant, where they gain experience with lab equipment, Biomedical Technician, where they become acquainted with various medical devices, or even a role as a Technical Support Specialist, providing a foundation in troubleshooting and customer service.
