Field Service Technician Jobs in Oklahoma
A Field Service Technician in the biotechnology industry is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing biotechnological equipment at various sites. They provide onsite technical assistance, calibrate systems, perform inspections, and troubleshoot problems to ensure all equipment is in good working order. They also provide training and technical support to users, document service and installation activities, and assist with product upgrades and modifications. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of biotechnology equipment, which contributes to the success of scientific research and medical procedures.
Important skills for this role include strong technical and mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with biotechnological equipment and processes is a must. Certification in Biotechnical Equipment Technology or similar is often required, along with relevant experience.
