Lab Technician Jobs in Connecticut
A Lab Technician in the biotechnology industry is responsible for assisting scientists in their research and experiments. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) from an accredited organization like the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) is often required. A Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field is usually preferred, though an associate degree may be sufficient for some entry-level positions.
