Sitting/standing for extended periods of time as well as extended periods of repetitive motion and general laboratory duties required as part of this position. Shift 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Monday - Friday (40 hrs/wk). Job Summary Assist with research to discover pathogenic mechanisms of the Lyme disease bacteria, Borrelia burgdorferi. Duties include maintenance of the lab, preparation of media and chemical solutions, cleaning glassware, restocking supplies, and assisting senior lab members with their research projects. There will be opportunities to perform semi-independent research projects, if desired. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities N/A Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
