Duties & Responsibilities- Work with supervisor to develop molecular protocols for food safety and microbiology undergraduate students for practicum and laboratory classwork.
- Adapt sequencing protocols for food safety and microbiology undergraduate students for practicum and laboratory classwork.
- Implement and trouble-shoot molecular and sequencing protocols for food safety and microbiology undergraduate students for application to practicum and laboratory classwork.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to follow molecular protocols.
- Knowledge of food safety pathogen molecular detection methods.
- Skill in communicating scientific information.

Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
- Experience in food safety and microbiology undergraduate research.
- Bachelor of Science in Microbiology.
