Biologist 1 (Regulatory & Economic Resources)

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Biology or related natural or environmental science field. Must possess a Driver license. Must possess a SCUBA diving certification.

Recruitment Notes

The Biologist I processes applications for projects within coastal wetlands and tidal waters. Regular duties include conducting biological assessments via snorkel or SCUBA, preparing reports, drafting permit language and permit conditions, and communicating with the public about the status of permit applications.
