We seek a motivated candidate to join our lab to aid in experiments looking at the molecular and physiological mechanisms of sorghum and Arabidopsis for the purpose of determining means of improvement and resilience of the plant(s) in the lab or out in their natural environment.
Minimum RequirementsKnowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in plant biology, genetics, microbiology, molecular biology, or related field. The candidate should possess up to six months of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in basic research techniques in the specific or related field; word processing, spreadsheet; database and/or desktop publishing software; presentation software; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired QualificationsThe selected candidate must have excellent communication, collaboration, and record keeping skills.
