Clinical Coordinator Jobs in New Jersey
A Clinical Coordinator in the Biotechnology industry is responsible for overseeing clinical trials and research projects from initiation to completion. They are tasked with planning, implementing, and managing all aspects of the trials, which includes setting up protocols, complying with regulations, and ensuring the safety and ethical treatment of participants. Additionally, they may also play a role in data analysis, compile reports and findings, and liaise with other professionals in the industry such as scientists, doctors, and administrators.

They must also have a solid understanding of medical terminology, clinical research processes, and regulatory guidelines. A degree in a relevant field such as biology, chemistry, or medical science is required, as well as a minimum of a few years of experience in clinical research. Prior certifications such as Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) can be beneficial. Before becoming a Clinical Coordinator, a professional might have served roles such as a Clinical Research Associate, Clinical Trial Assistant, or a Medical Laboratory Technologist.
